Southern Avenue and Meridian Road Widening

  • Designed Meridian Road to eliminate flooding by channelizing over 600 cfs of runoff into new box culverts and re-aligned Southern Avenue approaches across Meridian Road to improve safety.

I-17 and Pioneer Road Interchange Improvements

  • Our engineers strategized solutions for connecting the Pioneer Road interchange to Gavilan Peak Parkway without impacting the I-17 mainline traffic.

 MC85 and Avondale Boulevard Widening

  • Improvements were critical as this intersection is the main route to and from the Phoenix International Raceway serving nearly half a million cars NASCAR race during events
  • Stakeholders: Maricopa County, UPRR, City of Avondale

University Drive and 96th Street

  • We improved safety and addressed drainage issues through redesign of roadway and by introducing access control. 
  • Stakeholders: Maricopa County DOT, Circle K

Alma School Road Improvements

  • Helped accommodate needs of residents to use Neighborhood Electric Vehicles and Golf Carts in the community without sacrificing the regional demands of adjacent high speed roadway facilities.
