I-17 and Pioneer Road Interchange Improvements

YSMA designed improvements to Gavilan Peak Parkway and Pioneer Road at the I-17 Traffic Interchange.
 
  • Demonstrated through traffic modeling that proposed connection would not adversely impact I-17 mainline traffic, eliminating the need for a Change of Access report.
 
  • Developed an acceptable roadway geometry in spite of constraints posed by Interstate 17 and mountainous terrain. 
 
  • Coordinated approvals through FHWA, ADOT, MCDOT, and State Land Department
