Alma School Road Improvements

This roadway located in the Sun Lakes retirement community posed a challenge of accommodating golf carts on Alma School Road, which is an arterial street with a posted speed limit of 45 mph.
YSMA provided a unique solution by understanding the needs of the community and allowable movement of golf carts on Public Streets as per Arizona Revised Statutes. We also derived solutions to accommodate golf carts at the intersection of Riggs Road and Alma School Road intersection without sacrificing future traffic capacity of the intersection. |
